Dr. Vergel Bungay has a robust academic and industry background, holding significant positions at De La Salle University as an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering. He is a graduate of Doctor in Chemical Engineering from Kunsan National University, a Registered Chemist and Chemical Engineer. He also contributed to Euro-Med Laboratories and Mapúa Techserv as a Chemist. Dr. Bungay has been instrumental in quality assurance and departmental leadership roles at De La Salle University and is actively involved with the Philippine Institute of Chemical Engineers, serving as National Treasurer and Metro Manila Academe Chapter President.
