Lawrence P. Belo is a Full Professor of Chemical Engineering at De La Salle University and a board member of BAN Toxics, advocating for environmental justice. A dedicated educator, he was a National Semi-Finalist for the 2024 Metrobank Foundation’s Outstanding Filipinos and received the St. Benilde Romançon Pillar of Lasallian Excellence Award in 2017. He won the Bayanihan Award from the Australian Embassy in 2022. In 2009, he received the Outstanding Thesis Award from DOST-PCASTRD and ranked 7th in the 2002 Philippine chemical engineering licensure exam.
