EnP.Dennis Dolojan is a licensed Environmental Planner, a DENR registered Environmental Impact Statement Preparer and an accredited Pollution Control Officer in Caraga Region in Mindanao. He obtained his Master’s Degree in Environmental Science and Ecosystem Management from DLSU (2007) and his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology with concentration in Environmental Science from DLSU-Dasmarinas (2005). Aside from being part of the Department of Biology of DLSU, he is also an active professional environmental specialist and member of the pool of environmental consultants for the Detailed Engineering Design (DED) for various infrastructure projects in the Philippines with international collaboration like Japan, Korea, China and Belgium. His professional engagements and experiences include Integrated Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change Adaptation Measures (IDRR-CCA), Flood Control Projects, River Improvement and Rehabilitation (Dredging and Revetment Construction), Bridges and Highways Construction, Dams and Hydropower Plants, National Irrigation Projects, Wind (Mill) Turbine Construction, Energy and Fuel Resource Exploration and Extraction, Reclamation Projects and Land Use Planning. His passion to his profession leads to the exploration of some untainted places in the Philippines to which he advocates for sustainable tourism and developments and environmental protection. Some of his experience-based articles and stories were featured in Magazines, local TV programs and became a consultant for a local TeleRadyo segment.
