CHRISTIAN JORDAN O. DELA ROSA, MSc

Christian Jordan Ominga Dela Rosa, MSc was a graduate of BSc in Biology major in Zoology at the University of the Philippines – Los Banos and MSc in Microbiology at UP Diliman. Currently, he is a PhD Candidate in Biology specializing in Microbiology. He is a biology faculty at the De La Salle University-Manila for 14 years (as of 2021). He also had short teaching stints at FEU-Manila, St. Scholastica’s College – Manila, and Miriam College – Quezon City. He is an active life member of the Philippine Society for Microbiology (PSM), Inc and has been an officer for the last 8 years (as of 2021) serving in varying capacity. His work focused on topics on environmental microbiology and plans to continue working on the systematics and ecology of some “unfamiliar” and/or “not-so-famous” bacteria like Methylobacterium and Bacteroides. In addition, he is also a Senior Science developmental editing specialist of REX publishing house where he actively contributes whatever he can to improve the quality of science elementary to senior high school textbooks and modules in the Philippines.
