DOREE ESMERALDA L. ARZADON, PhD

At De La Salle University, Dr. Arzadon has been teaching courses in Biology both in the undergraduate and senior high school. To teach high school, she passed the Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET). Over the years, she has held positions as High School Principal, Senior Science Research Specialist, and Research Coordinator. She is an alumna of the University of the Philippines Los Banos (UPLB), where she obtained her PhD and MSc degrees, and majored in plant nematodes and plant viruses, respectively. Prior to teaching, she was active doing research on nematodes of tobacco at the Philippine Tobacco Research and Training Center. Her studies on plant viruses were on potato viruses. She was an active member of the Philippine Phytopathological Society of the Philippines. Dr. Arzadon obtained her BS degree in Biology from Silliman University, Dumaguete City.
