SISON, NANCY PIA D.

 

Nancy Pia D. Sison obtained her Master of Arts in Religous Studies with an emphasis in Scripture at Maryhill School of Theology, magna cum laude. She is a licensed teacher having passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET). As part-time faculty at DLSU, she has been teaching Scripture courses since 2013 with a consistent Outstanding students’ evaluation. She is in the process of completing her Ph.D. in Applied Theology specializing in Biblical Studies, also at  DLSU. She has had the opportunity to study Scripture with Jewish Torah scholars and rabbis at Bat Kol Institute’s summer study programs in Jerusalem, Israel.  She is a member of the Catholic Biblical Association of the Philippines (CBAP) and the Religious Educators Association of the Philippines (REAP). Her research interests are on feminist biblical hermeneutics and the Jewish context of Jesus and the Bible.
