FESTIN, LORENZ MOISES J.

LORENZ MOISES J. FESTIN is an ordained priest of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Manila. Having completed his philosophical and theological studies as well as his priestly formation at the San Carlos Seminary (Makati), he was appointed campus minister of the University Philippines, Diliman (1992). Thereafter, he was sent for further studies in Rome, Italy where he obtained both his licentiate (1995) and doctorate (1998) in philosophy from the Pontificia Universita Gregoriana. Previously the director (1998-2001) and dean of studies (1998-2015) of the San Carlos Seminary Philosophy Department, he currently serves as the Assistant Superintendent of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Manila Educational System (RCAMES) for Finance and Administration. He is also the Official Representative of the RCAMES to the MaPSA Executive Council and the CEAP Superintendents’ Conference. Aside from the De La Salle University, he likewise teaches various philosophical courses at the San Carlos Seminary (Makati), Holy Apostles Senior Seminary (Makati), and San Carlos Seminary College (Cebu). His many years of priestly ministry include pastoral experiences at the St. Nicholas Parish, Jersey City, New Jersey, USA (1993 & 1994), Pfarrgemeinde St. Ida, Gremendorf, Münster, Germany (1996 & 1997), Parrocchia Apparizione B.V. Maria di Lourdes, Padova, Italy (1995-1998).
