CORPUZ, JEFF CLYDE G.

Dr. Jeff Clyde G. Corpuz is the Graduate Program Coordinator and an Associate Professor in the Department of Theology and Religious Education at De La Salle University. He holds the prestigious Dr. Ariston Estrada Academic Chair in Theology. Dr. Corpuz earned his Ph.D. in Theology from De La Salle University, following his Master of Arts in Theology, which he completed cum laude and Benemeritus (Magna cum laude) at the University of Santo Tomas. He also pursued graduate studies at Fordham University, New York.

Dr. Corpuz’s research and teaching explore the dynamic interaction between religion and culture, with a particular focus on postcolonial theology, interreligious and intercultural dialogue, theology of religions, and practical theology. His scholarly contributions have positioned him as a leading figure in his field. He was ranked first in the Philippines in Theology by the AD Scientific Index (2025) and secured the top global ranking in Scholar GPS (Religion and Theology, Prior 5 Years). These rankings recognize scholars for their academic productivity, research impact, and citation influence.

His scholarship has been widely recognized, including an award from the Vice President for Research and Innovation at De La Salle University for being among the most cited scholars in the Humanities. His work includes 75–99 Scopus-indexed publications, over 800 citations, and an h-index of 13 (Google Scholar). As a respected scholar, Dr. Corpuz serves as an editor, author, and peer reviewer for leading academic journals and publishers, including Springer, Sage, Routledge, Taylor & Francis, Cambridge University Press, and Oxford University Press.
