Dr. Cacho earned her M.A. in Religious Studies at Maryhill School of Theology (Magna Cum Laude) and a Doctorate in Education major in Religious and Values Education (With Distinction) at the De La Salle University Manila. She has taught at School of the Holy Spirit, De La Salle- College of Benilde, St. Scholastica’s College, Manila, and other Formation schools/seminaries in the Metro. She previously held administrative positions, namely Department Chair, Principal, and School Dean in St. Scholastica’s College, Manila. She is currently an Associate Professor at the Department of Theology and Religious Education of De La Salle University, Manila. She was part of the Young theologians’ group of the World Council of Churches. She had post-doctoral fellowships as a visiting scholar at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium, and the Chinese University of Hongkong. She has published articles in reputable journals locally and internationally and has authored textbooks for K-12 students on Christian Living, GMRC, and Values Education. She also wrote Theology books for college students and edited a series of textbooks for some publishing companies in the country. As part of her advocacy, she provides consultation on curriculum design and trains teachers for professional development.
