Topin Sto. Domingo Ruiz is currently a faculty member of the Political Science Department in De La Salle University Manila. Topin graduated from the University of the Philippines Baguio with a degree of Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences Major in History and Minor in Political Science in 2010. The following academic year, she served as an instructor of Political Science in the Department of Economics and Political Science in the University of the Philippines Baguio until 2015. She then took up her masters degree in 2013 in the Ateneo de Manila University. In 2018, she graduated with a degree of Master of Arts in Political Science Major in Global Politics. Topin’s research interests are on areas of public policy particularly policies on primary education and civic education. Her areas of specialization include Philippine politics especially local politics, good governance, and issues on corruption.
