Sylvelyn Jo Almanzor is finishing her Doctor of Philosophy in Literature at De La Salle University, where she is an alumna and where she also teaches. Her interest in the intersections of the humanities with other disciplines has also brought her to work as a barista and a bartender at The Curator Coffee & Cocktails, one of Asia’s 50 Best Bars. She also co-founded a micro-roastery, Kubo Coffee, which aims to protect transparency and traceability in the coffee industry.
