Tanya Sevilla Simon currently teaches literature and art appreciation courses at De La Salle University, where she recently received a fellowship grant from the Bienvenido N. Santos Creative Writing Centre. She is also a contributing editor and writes a regular column for Going Places, the travel magazine published by Manila Bulletin. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing from De La Salle University, Manila and is a fellow of the 1998 Silliman University National Summer Writers Workshop. She authored “How Long Till September?”, a children’s book published by Adarna House. Her poems have been published in Philippine Graphic Magazine, Philippine Panorama, Inquirer Magazine, Makata International Poetry Journal, and “Under The Storm: An Anthology of Philippine Contemporary Poetry.” She lives in Mandaluyong with her husband and son.
