
QUIZON, JUAN MIGUEL LEANDRO L.
Miguel Quizon is an Assistant Professorial Lecturer at the Literature Department of De La Salle University – Manila where he teaches Philippine and World Literatures, cultural studies, and electives on urban spatial studies and cultural geography. He earned his MA in Literary and Cultural Studies from the Ateneo de Manila University and is currently finishing his PhD in Literature from DLSU-Manila under a scholarship program. His main interests in research include cultural studies, cultural geography, and urban spatial studies. He has attended several National Workshops and Fellowships in Criticism for his critical works in urban Southeast Asian cultural studies. His essays, articles, and creative works have appeared in anthologies, magazines, and journals. He was an Asian Fellow at the Asia Graduate Student Fellowship Programme under the Asia Research Institute – National University of Singapore in 2015.
