Mariane Amor Romina Abuan finished her BA in Philosophy and her MA in Creative Writing at the University of Santo Tomas. She is currently finishing her Ph.D. at the De La Salle University where she also teaches Art Appreciation and Literature. She has attended the UST, Silliman University, and IYAS National Writers’ Workshops for her poems in English and Filipino. She is a member and the former Vice President of LIRA or the Linangan sa Imahen Retorika at Anyo founded by National Artist for Literature Virgilio Almario. Her poems have been published in several anthologies of LIRA and she co-authored the Pinoy Rock Musical “Sa Wakas”. She is a founding member of the Fringe Manila Art Festival.
