Ma. Jemimah R. Uy is an assistant professorial lecturer teaching 21st century literature and art appreciation at De La Salle University. She has obtained her Master of Global Affairs & Policy degree at Yonsei University Graduate School of International Studies in Seoul, South Korea as an academic scholar. She also holds an undergraduate degree in Literature from De La Salle University, where she graduated cum laude. She was a delegate in the 22nd United Nations Youth Assembly that concluded in New York City last August 2018 where she advocated for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of Quality Education, Gender Equality, and Climate Action. Her research interests include migration, development, gender, and cultural studies.
