Genaro R. Gojo Cruz is an advocate of children’s literature, and he has published more than 90 books for children. He teaches literature at De La Salle University. He is the associate for children’s literature at Bienvenido N. Santos Creative Writing Center (BNSCWC). His children’s stories have won prizes from the Don Carlos Palanca Memorial Awards for Literature, PBBY-Salanga Writers Prize, Romeo Forbes Story Writing Contest, Gawad Panitikang Pangkalusugan, and Gig Book Storywriting Contest. He was hailed as Makata ng Taon in 2004 and 2007. He is the author of the book Ako ay May Titi (I Have a Penis) which became viral on social media recently. The book is intended to teach young boys about proper hygiene.
