DR. MARLON S. DELUPIO is an assistant professor of the Department of History, College of Liberal Arts. He finished his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science Major in Policy Studies (2000) and Master’s degree in History (Graduated with Distinction) at De La Salle University (2007). In 2008 he took up Doctor of Philosophy in History at the University of the Philippines, Diliman and graduated in 2013. Dr. Delupio authored the book “Tulang Sakdal: Aral at Diwa ng Sakdalismo” published by the Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino in 2016. He received two national award and recognition: The Young Historian’s Prize in 2014 given by the National Commission for the Culture and the Arts (NCCA) and Gawad Julian Cruz Balmaseda awarded by the Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino (KWF) in 2015. He also presented papers and lectures both in local and international conferences and published scholarly articles in respectable journals in history.
