Sr. Auria U. Arabit is a perpetually professed member of the Congregation of the Sisters of the Poor of Saint Catherine of Siena. From 1996-2000, she was assigned in Rome, Italy. During these years, she was given an opportunity to undergo psycho-spiritual formation and had her study in consecrated life while having experienced the beauty of international community life. Arabit took MARELED in DLSU, Manila and had her Ph.D Theology in Loyola School of Theology, Ateneo de Manila. She was a faculty in the Tertiary level in UST-Angelicum, Q.C. and had taught in Loyola School of Theology, Ateneo de Manila. She has been a missionary sister for almost 7 years in Cagayan Valley, Archdiocese of Tuguegarao from 2002-2009. She worked in the Catechetical ministry as Coordinator and as a Youth Animator in the Archdiocesan level. She is currently an Assistant Professor and the Graduate Program Coordinator in the Department of Theology and Religious Education,DLSU, Manila. Her research interests include: Religious Education, Spirituality, Charism, Popular Devotion, Chrsitology and Interreligious Dialogue.
