Ms. Dela Cruz received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Bulacan State University with her research focused on aquaculture, specifically by utilizing the protein from a rice field pest into an organic fish feed formulation. She is currently a member and a research staff at the Biological Control Research Unit under Center for Natural Sciences and Environmental Research, where she continues to pursue her research interest in integrated pest management, particularly in the development of biologically based techniques to control pest population in cacao.
