Background

As part of the global competitiveness and innovation in health research priority of the NUHRA 2017-2022, the De La Salle University – Institute of Biomedical Engineering & Health Technologies (DLSU-IBEHT) will conduct the first of an annual Philippine Biomedical Engineering and Health Technologies Conference and Exhibit (IBEHTCE2021). The conference will focus on therapeutic, assistive, rehabilitative, and minimally invasive surgical devices and health technologies with themes of: commercialization driven development, user-centered collaborative design, and preparing biomedical researchers and innovators for adaptive and resilient future.

 

CONFERENCE OBJECTIVES

  1. To provide a venue for information exchange between researchers and experts in the field of biomedical engineering;
  2. To showcase latest technologies developed locally by research partners;
  3. To identify possible areas of collaboration between the research community, industry and other stakeholders; and
  4. To recommend strategies to initiate a research-based biomedical industry in the country
