ABET reaccredits seven Engineering programs

Highlighting De La Salle University’s internationalization efforts and commitment to continue pushing the boundaries of excellence, seven programs of the DLSU Gokongwei College of Engineering have received ABET re-accreditation.  

The following Bachelor of Science programs are re-accredited until September 30, 2031: Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering,  and Manufacturing Engineering and Management. 

Meanwhile, the Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering has been re-accredited until September 30, 2027.  

 ABET serves the interests of 34 member societies. Representing more than 1.5 million professionals around the world, these member societies set policy, develop strategy and conduct accreditation activities worldwide on behalf of their professions. For the DLSU program reaccreditation, a team from ABET visited the campus last November.  

GCOE Dean Dr. Kathleen Aviso expressed gratitude to all the members of the GCOE and the rest of the Lasallian community, thanking them for their contributions and continued support.
