Laboratory Technician

Job Description/Summary

The Laboratory Technician is responsible for operating, monitoring, organizing, maintaining, and ensuring the safekeeping of laboratory instruments, equipment, apparatus, spare parts, and other related items within their designated laboratory area.

Qualifications:

1. A graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Chemical Process Technology, Chemical Engineering Technology, and Applied Science Major in Laboratory Technology.
2. A licensed Chemical Technician
3. Have an extensive background or work experience in laboratories
4. Knowledgeable in handling, safekeeping, and maintaining laboratory types of equipment
5. Excellent written and oral communication skills
