Kate Ramil has been a development practitioner for over ten years with expertise in gender equality, disability, and social inclusion (GEDSI). She uses literature, creative arts, and ethnography for her gender and development workshops. She works with grassroots and business leaders, the local government, multi-lateral agencies, and diplomatic missions. For more than fifteen years, Kate has been a part-time lecturer at De La Salle University. She teaches Literature, Gender Studies, and Mythology. Kate has a Bachelor’s degree from De La Salle University Manila and a European Master’s degree in Women’s and Gender Studies from the University of Hull in the UK and Universidad de Granada in Spain. She is a recipient of the Asia Peace Innovators’ Fellowship at Salzburg Global.
