Mary Harmony Guevarra is an Assistant Professorial Lecturer under the Department of Literature at De La Salle University Manila, Philippines. She has taught courses on Philippine Literature, Literary Research, Literary Theory and Criticism and the Teaching of Literature. She is a candidate for the Doctor of Philosophy in Literature program under the same university and her dissertation is on transnational Filipino masculinities in East Asia. With a focus on Cultural Studies, her research interests include Filipino and Southeast Asian masculinities, migration studies, and the intersections of globalization, gender and transnationalism. She was a 2021 Asian Graduate Student Fellow under the Asia Research Institute of the National University of Singapore. She finished her Master of Arts in Language and Literature, Major in Literature at De La Salle University in 2015.
