Voltaire is an Electronics and Communications Engineer with 10 years of experience in Clinical Engineering and Technology Management as well as Health Facilities Management from his work with Mercado General Hospital and QualiMed Health Network in the past. He currently doing research in sensors (Haptic) primarily for Rehabilitation Medicine and is actively working together with the Evelyn D. Ang Institute of Biomedical Engineering and Health Technologics working towards the commercialization of the Automated Portable Robotic Orthosis (APRO) as an assistive device with potential uses for Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation Medicine. He is listed as co-inventor for three patents co-owned by De La Salle University which are related to the device APRO and ReuLS.
