Dr. Gerardo L. Augusto received his Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering at the Mapua Institute of Technology, Manila in 1987. He finished his Master of Engineering Major in Mechanical Engineering at Nagoya University, Japan, in 1996. He completed his PhD in Mechanical Engineering at De La Salle University, manila in 2015. His fields of interest are experimental fluid dynamics, the design of district cooling distribution networks, and wind engineering. prior to his graduate studies at DLSU, he worked with Emirates Central Cooling System Corporation, one of the largest district cooling service providers in the United Arab Emirates. In 2008, he worked with the Research and Development Department of AVANTIS Limited, specializing in the design of wind turbine components in Hong Kong, China.
