Nestor Nisperos

Nes Nisperos has accumulated marketing, sales, business development and general management experience with a number of multinational companies in fast-moving consumer goods as well as in industrial and service industries such as distribution and telecommunications. After exiting the corporate world, he has been teaching part-time at the De La Salle University Manila under the Management and Organization Dept. of the Ramon V. Del Rosario College of Business. Nes teaches courses in Management Principles, Strategic Management and Human Behavior in Organizations. Since 2011, under the Center for Professional Development in Business (CPDB) of DLSU, he has also been tapped to be a facilitator for various corporate training clients the longest run of which has been the Banco Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Management Skills and Enhancement Program (MSEP). This is a 3 week program customized for all BSP officers and directors. Nes is an accredited SME or Subject Matter Expert for one of the five modules of MSEP. His involvement with DITO began in 2011, where participation included attending various workshops, seminars and distance learning courses under the joint sponsorship of the Intellectual Property Office Phils. (IPOPHL) and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). Aside from eventually being tapped as one of the resource persons for a number of internal and external IP training engagements other projects are the DLSU Innovation and Technology Fair (DITECH) which had just recently concluded its 4 th annual run. Beyond this, Nes’ focus with DITO is on identifying and developing the IP of DLSU that can be positioned for possible commercialization. Alongside this is the development of a new course on the management of technology innovation which can supplement the current technology entrepreneurship course. This is designed to foster closer interaction between the colleges particularly in the area of commercializing university- based technology.
