Mr. Melad III is a lecturer of economics at the De La Salle University in Manila since 2021. He teaches introduction to economics, microeconomics, economic calculus, and economic research.

As a member of the Alpha Phi Omega International Service Fraternity and the Rotary Club of Marikina North in Rotary District 3800, he is involved in the implementation of various community projects mainly in the Philippines. He also works as a Climate Adaptation Consultant at Royal HaskoningDHV, which implements sustainable water and maritime projects in the Asia-Pacific region.

Research Interest

Mr. Melad III’s research project with the Swiss Federal Institute of Aquatic Science and Technology in Zurich, Switzerland is on water management, with a focus on piloting water flow diagram in an Asian context. The results of the study have been recently presented in May 2023 in the Hague, Netherlands. In addition, His recent Master’s thesis is centered on providing an integrated framework and appraisal tool to assess greenwashing in climate adaptation infrastructure programs and projects.
