Dining
There are a lot of scrumptious dishes and delicacies in the Philippines to choose from. There's the infamous Adobo, Sisig and Balut. Aside from those, you can always run to your favorite fast-food chains or restaurants if you may wish.

Clothing
Manila has a wide variety of shops for your everyday clothing needs. From high-end designer shops, to affordable local boutiques, to the one-stop-shop department stores, to the ultimately cheap bazaars (popularly known as tiangge). Name it, they have it. Most of these shops are located inside a mall.
You may want to visit the closest malls to the University listed below for your clothing needs.
Health Care
The University clinic attends to the medical needs of the students, faculty and staff inside the campus. Its services include first aid, consultations and starting medication for common ailments. For all your other medical needs, there are also a number of medical and health centers near the University that you can go to.

Books and Supplies
The DLSU Bookstore services the school and office requirements of students, faculty, and administration inside the University. They offer school and office supplies, textbooks, and other items at reasonable prices. It is located at the ground floor of the SPS Building and 2nd Floor of the Enrique Razon Sports Complex.

Travel
There are several modes of transportation here in Metro Manila. It's pretty easy to get around with the LRT and MRT stations interconnected with one another. You can also always call a 24-hour Taxi Service Hotline and ask them to pick you up and bring you to your desired location for your convenience.
Generally, metered taxis charge Php30 for flag down and additional Php 2.50 for every next kilometer. Please note that some of the taxi services below may ask for an additional charge. We suggest that you negotiate well with the operator before availing of their service.
