How to obtain your Ethernet / Physical Address

On a Laptop

    • On your desktop, click on Start and go to All Programs. In the Accessories menu, click Command Prompt.A quicker way to do this is to click on Start and click Run. In the Run window, type cmd and click OK.

 

    • In the Command Prompt window, type ipconfig/all and press the Enter key on your keyboard.The details of your IP Network Configuration will be displayed.

 

    • Scroll down until you see the Physical Address line
      (i.e.00-1B-B9-F1-AF-0A)If the Operating System you’re using is Microsoft Vista or Windows 7, the Physical Address should be located under Wireless LAN adapter Wireless Network Connection.

      If the Operating System you’re using is Microsoft Windows XP, it should be located under Ethernet adapter Wireless Network Connection.

 

  • Take note of your physical address.

On a Nokia Express Music mobile device

    • Dial/type in *#62209526#.The WLAN MAC address will be displayed.

 

    • Take note of your WLAN MAC Address.

 

  • Press OK to go back to your home screen.

On an iPhone and iTouch

    • In your home screen, touch the Settings icon.

 

    • In the Settings window, touch General.

 

    • In the General window, touch About.

 

    • Scroll down until you see the Wi-Fi Address line.

 

  • Take note of your Wi-Fi Address.
