Dr. Alellie Sobreviñas is an Associate Professor and Assistant Dean for Research and Advanced Studies at the School of Economics of De La Salle University (DLSU)-Manila in the Philippines. She obtained her PhD in Applied Economics from the University of Antwerp in Belgium. She serves as an Associate Editor of the Asia Pacific Journal of Evaluation (the official journal of the Asia Pacific Evaluation Association), which focuses on the promotion of theory, methodology, and practices in monitoring and evaluation. She is also an Outreach Team member of the Communitor+, a vibrant Community of Practice dedicated to inclusive monitoring and evaluation. Prior to her doctoral study, she worked for the CBMS International Research Network where she participated in various CBMS- and poverty-related projects, in collaboration with international, national and local development partners. Her research interests include poverty, international migration, Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS), and development economics in general.
