 Russell graduated with a Master’s degree in Psychology, major in Human Development and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from De La Salle University, and has also obtained a Professional Teaching Certification from the University of the Philippines – Open University.

As a public speaker, he has won multiple championships and awards in various speech contests in Toastmasters International, and constantly uses this platform to advocate for mental health and positive youth development.
With his strong interest in Psychology, he earned his license as a Registered Psychometrician, worked as a Guidance Officer and Student Council Adviser, engaged in psychological research, and presented research papers in conferences of the Psychological Association of the Philippines and the Pambansang Samahan ng Sikolohiyang Pilipino.

At present, he continues to pursue his PhD in Psychology, and uses his expertise as a full time faculty member of the Senior High School Division and a Part-time College faculty member of the Department of Psychology of De La Salle University, as a means to help create psychologically-safe classrooms and communities.
