Educational Background

Roberto E. Javier, Jr. is a Full Professor and former Chair of the Department of Psychology of the De La Salle University Manila. He was a board member of the National Association for Filipino Psychology, member of the Psychological Association of the Philippines, and was a board member of the AIDS Society of the Philippines. He is a Registered Psychologist and holds clinic at CDM-Waltz Clinic at St. Luke’s Medical Center, Quezon City. He provides psychological services for a government agency, the Public-Private Partnership Center of the Philippines, and for an international non-government organization, the Greenpeace Philippines. He is a Research Fellow at the DLSU Social Development Research Center. His books, published by the De La Salle Publishing House include Pakikipagkapwa (2012), From Exceptionality to Exceptional (2014) and Seasons in Parenting (2015), which was nominated for the National Book Awards.
