Myra is a registered psychometrician and psychologist, as well as a speaker, consultant, and educator. She currently teaches part-time at De La Salle University and provides teletherapy services at MedGrocer. With a strong passion for psychology and mental health, she leads a few advocacy projects. These include Sa Labas ng Classroom Podcast, where she shares insights on psychology, mental health, life lessons, and research, and The 100% Attitude Project, a volunteer group focused on offering mental health services to Filipinos while supporting local businesses. She also writes a column called Brain Waves for the North Luzon Monitor, an online newsletter. Outside of her work in psychology, Myra has self-published two poetry anthologies: Between the Lines of Self-Love and Romance (2018) and Between the Lines of Heartache and Hope (2020). She was also one of the 10 fellows in the recent Fifth La Salle National Creative Nonfiction Writers’ Workshop for Healthcare Professionals & Medical Interns.
