Monica Renee G. Policarpio is a psychology researcher and educator from De La Salle University. In completing her M.S. degree in the same institution, she explored intertemporal decision making and individual differences in anticipatory pleasure. Her primary interests include self-regulation, reasoning, judgment, and decision making. Her publications and current projects are about self-control, skin color bias, cognitive biases, moral reasoning, and the non-religious. Monica is currently advancing her expertise through a Ph.D. program in Educational Psychology, with a focus on metacognitive accuracy and its implications for decision-making in learning.
