Maria Guadalupe C. Salanga, PhD is an associate professor in the Department of Psychology at De La Salle University-Manila. She holds a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the same institution. Dr. Salanga currently serves as the co-editor of the Philippine Journal of Psychology. She is also part of the editorial board of the Asian Journal of Social Psychology and the Personality and Social Psychology Review. She also currently serves as the Chairperson of the Department of Psychology of De La Salle University-Manila. She has worked with researchers from the School of Health and Wellbeing of the University of Glasgow. She served as co-investigator for the Katawag Project, a study on Mental health and HIV among call centre employees in the Philippines: Co-producing a workplace intervention using a systems approach and is currently co-investigator in a Feasibility study of a Peer-led, School-based, Adolescent Smoking Prevention Intervention (ASSIST) in Culturally Different Middle Income Countries. Both studies are funded by the Medical Research Council.
