Noelle Leslie dela Cruz is Full Professor of Philosophy at De La Salle University. Her poetry collection, Sisyphus on the Penrose Stairs: Meta-Reveries (Vagabond Press), won First Prize at the Palanca Awards for Philippine Literature. She is lead author of Philosophy of the Human Person: Giving Meaning to Life (Oxford University Press). She also co-edited the anthology Feminista: Gender, Race, and Class in the Philippines (Anvil Press). She serves as editorial consultant and book review editor for Philosophia: International Journal of Philosophy, as well as poetry editor for Philosophy and Global Affairs. With feminist philosopher colleagues, she publishes the bi-monthly online newsletter, Beyond the Ghetto, which aims to mainstream the works of women philosophers. Her research and teaching areas include existential phenomenology, philosophy of literature, poetry and philosophy, and feminist philosophy.
