 Joseph Martin M. Jose is an Assistant Professorial Lecturer at the Department of Philosophy, De La Salle University – Manila. He obtained his bachelor’s (summa cum laude), masteral, and doctoral degrees in philosophy from the same university. His dissertation on the Aristotelian approach to social media friendship was awarded outstanding dissertation. His recent publications are book chapters in Love and Friendship Across Cultures: Perspectives from East and West (2021), Philosophies of Appropriated Religions: Perspectives from Southeast Asia (2023), and AI Ethics Primer for Filipinos (2024). He is a member of the Philosophical Association of the Philippines (PAP), Philippine National Philosophical Research Society (PNPRS), and Philippine Association for the Study of History, Culture, and Religion (PASCHR). He is also a member of the editorial board of Philosophia: International Journal of Philosophy where he serves as an Assistant Editor.
