JJ Joaquin is a Professor of Philosophy and a Founding Research Fellow at the Southeast Asian Research Center and Hub (SEARCH) at De La Salle University, Manila, Philippines. He is an Associate Member of the University Birmingham Centre for the Philosophy of Religion, former President of the Philosophical Association of the Philippines, Founding Secretary-General of the Union of Societies and Associations of Philosophy in the Philippines, and a member of the editorial advisory boards of the Asian Journal of Philosophy, the Journal of the Philosophy and Religion Society of Thailand, Organon F: International Journal of Analytic Philosophy, Philosophia: International Journal of Philosophy, and Suri: The Journal of the Philosophical Association of the Philippines.
