
Jeane C. Peracullo
Full Professor and Assistant Dean for External Affairs and La Sallian Mission
Educational Background
Dr. Jeane Peracullo is a full professor and the Assistant Dean of External Affairs and Lasallian Mission in the College of Liberal Arts at De La Salle University. She has presented at numerous conferences and published several articles on a wide range of topics, including environmental philosophy, environmental ethics, feminist philosophy and theology, gender triangulation, religion and postcoloniality, and international relations, with a particular focus on human identities and spaces, as well as the relationship between youth, religion, and culture.
Dr. Peracullo also serves on the board of the Women’s and Gender Studies Association of the Philippines (WSAP). In 2019, she was a Research Fellow at the Center for World Catholicism and Intercultural Theology (CWCIT) at DePaul University in Chicago, USA. Jeane is a 2016 IASACT (Institute for the Advanced Studies in Asian Cultures and Theologies) Scholar and has been a mentor in the IASACT program since 2018.
Jeane is a co-editor of the forthcoming book Global Religion and the Climate Crisis: Perspectives from Practical Theology and Religious Studies in International Discourse, which de Gruyter Press will publish.
