Professor Inocencio joined DLSU in 2010, after spending over two decades in various research institutions in the Philippines, Asia and Africa. She teaches business economics for graduate students.

Professor Inocencio has provided policy advice to government agencies like the National Economic and Development Authority, Department of Agriculture and its attached agencies, and the Development Academy of the Philippines, among others.

Research Interest

Professor Inocencio’s primary area of work is agriculture and water. In recent years, she has also worked on other areas such as sub-national product accounts, regional poverty impacts, agglomeration in tourism promotion, competition in agriculture and manufacturing sectors.

She is currently working on non-tariff measures for selected agricultural commodities, development of a competitive neutrality framework for energy, utilities and communications sectors, public-private partnership (PPP) by local governments in agriculture, and digital governance projects.
