
Dr. Mitzie Irene Conchada
Full Professor
Mitzie Irene P. Conchada is Professor at the Carlos L. Tiu School of Economics (CLT-SOE) of De La Salle University, Manila. She obtained her Ph.D. in Economics from the Ateneo de Manila University, masteral degree (Master of Science in Economics) and undergraduate degree (Bachelor of Arts major in Economics and Bachelor of Secondary Education major in History) from De La Salle University, Manila. She served as associate dean of CLT-SOE and vice chair of the Department of Economics. She was also Research Fellow of the Partnership for Economic Policy and Economic Analyst of the Asian Development Bank. In 2018, she was DOST-NAST recipient of the Outstanding Scientific Paper Award for her paper entitled “Making social health insurance and micro-savings programs work for the informal sector in the Philippines.” |
