Katya E. Manalastas is a College Lecturer and Senior High School Instructor in the Department of Philosophy at De La Salle University. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy (cum laude) and her Master’s Degree in Philosophy from the University of Santo Tomas, where she also completed the Teacher Certification Program in 2022. Currently, she is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Philosophy at De La Salle University, Manila. Her academic interests include Philosophy of Education, Philosophy of Psychology, Ethics and Existentialism, and Critical Theory (Frankfurt School). She is a member of the Philosophical Association of the Philippines (PAP) and is also an American TESOL Certified ESL teacher.
