Jeffrey D. Sanchez, MS, RPsy is a registered, licensed psychologist and is currently a part-time lecturer at the Laguna and Manila campuses of De La Salle University (DLSU), Philippines, where he has taught courses in research. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with a minor in History, at the University of California, Irvine and later his master’s degree in psychology, major in clinical psychology from DLSU Manila. His previous engagements in research focused on anxiety and depression in adult populations, community mental health, and the practice of psychological assessment in the Philippines. His current research interests include anxiety, depression, and psychological well-being as well as psychological assessment, specifically projective techniques. He previously worked as a research assistant at the Research Ethics Office (REO) at DLSU Manila, where he conducted initial reviews of documentary requirements for university-wide research projects in need of institutional ethical clearances and presented orientations to undergraduate and graduate students about the general principles of research ethics. He has also previously worked as a psychologist-in-training at PsychConsult, Inc., where he conducted full psychological assessment test batteries and wrote full psychological assessment reports.
