Sweet Marvelous U. Rafinian, MAPsy, RPsy, RPm is a dedicated psychologist, educator, and advocate committed to making a positive impact in the fields of mental health, education, and inclusivity. She is a registered psychometrician and psychologist, Ms. Rafinian’s career reflects a blend of practice, research, and teaching aimed at serving diverse communities.Her professional journey began at AMG Bahay Silungan Inc., a non-governmental organization dedicated to the care and rehabilitation of sexually abused and exploited children, where she served as an in-house psychometrician. Alongside this role, she worked as a research assistant at De La Salle University, an experience that fueled her transition into academe. She joined FEU High School Manila as a senior high school faculty member and later expanded her teaching roles to Philippine Christian University and De La Salle University, where she teaches psychology courses at present, sharing her knowledge and passion with the next generation of professionals. As a practicing psychologist, Ms. Rafinian provides psychotherapy services to a diverse range of clients at Kairos Psychological Services. Her commitment to mental health is paralleled by her advocacy for marginalized groups, particularly the Deaf community, she is also a registered sign language interpreter for the Deaf. In addition to her professional and advocacy work, she is humbly serving at CCF Manila in various ministries, embodying her dedication to faith and community service.
