Masters in Psychology, specializing in Developmental Psychology,
Ateneo de Manila University

Sam is a licensed clinical psychologist with a master’s degree in Developmental Psychology from Ateneo de Manila University. With specialized training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Sam has a deep commitment to supporting neurodivergent individuals and designing interventions that promote growth and resilience.

Sam’s academic and professional pursuits extend to the realm of parenting research, with prior experience collaborating with the Masayang Pamilya Organization, Inc. and Parenting for Lifelong Health (PLH). These initiatives focused on developing evidence-based, culturally relevant parenting programs that strengthen family dynamics and child development. Currently, Sam continues to engage in similar research endeavors, contributing to projects that empower parents and caregivers in nurturing supportive and sustainable relationships.

In addition to research, Sam is passionate about exploring innovative therapeutic tools, particularly the integration of games and play in clinical practice. With a warm, semi-structured approach, Sam fosters inclusive spaces where clients can feel heard and valued.
