COSCA Holds Orientation Session for 35 ALS Learners, Strengthening Support and Engagement

COSCA, through the L-ARAL component of the Lasallian Social Development Program (LSDP), conducted an orientation session for 35 DLSU Alternative Learning System (ALS) learners on September 28, 2024. L-ARAL Specialist Ms. Abigail Mariano provided an overview of the ALS program, explaining its objectives and how it supports learners in pursuing alternative academic pathways.

Mr. Leo Tadena, the LSDP Coordinator, followed with a COSCA orientation, informing learners of the various opportunities and support services available to them. The session aimed to enrich the learners’ understanding of the resources they could access through COSCA.

The event concluded with a campus tour led by COSCA LOVE volunteers, offering ALS learners a chance to familiarize themselves with DLSU’s facilities. This initiative also sought to encourage future collaboration with student organizations, promoting social engagement and creating a supportive network for the learners’ personal and academic growth.
