COSCA volunteers strengthen bonds through team building

COSCA volunteers successfully held its first face-to-face team-building event since the pandemic at the International Institute of Rural Reconstruction (IIRR) in Silang, Cavite last July 20-21, 2024. The two-day event brought together 15 volunteers, 1 alumni volunteer, and 3 coordinators/adult formators for a weekend of bonding, reflection, and growth.

The event aimed to renew the volunteers’ commitment by providing a safe space to forge stronger working relationships, share experiences, and reignite their passion for service. Participants included members from DLSU student groups such as the DLS-RCYC, COSCA-LOVE, and DLSU-SCA, who came together to build a deeper sense of unity.

The event emphasized the importance of social responsibility and highlighted the role of volunteers in bridging social gaps.

By the end of the team building, participants left with renewed enthusiasm and a stronger sense of belonging to the COSCA community.
