DLSU-COSCA Strengthens Partnerships with Service Learning Orientation and MOA Signing Ceremony

De La Salle University’s Center for Social Concern and Action (DLSU-COSCA) hosted the General Orientation on Service Learning and DLSU-COSCA and Partner Organizations: Memorandum of Agreement Signing and Partnership Renewal Ceremony on September 21, 2024. Held at the Waldo Perfecto Seminar Room, the event gathered 119 participants from 50 organizations involved in the Service Learning Program for Term 1, AY 2024-25, as well as 36 organizations renewing their partnership with COSCA.

Mr. Juanito Alcazar, Director of COSCA, opened the event with remarks highlighting the importance of the program and the contributions of social engagement (SE) partners. Presentations by Ms. Marietta Guanzon, Mr. Peter Jayson Moredo, and Ms. Laizalyn C. Layco outlined the significance of the Service Learning Program, engagement guidelines, and how SE partners can effectively collaborate in both on-campus and off-campus initiatives.

The event culminated in the signing of the new Memorandum of Agreement by 36 SE partners, solidifying their commitment to continued collaboration with DLSU-COSCA. The renewed partnerships aim to foster more impactful joint initiatives, strengthening the university’s social engagements in the years ahead.
