Experiencing Global

I have always been a big fan of Uniqlo and remember becoming particularly interested in the company’s sustainability initiatives after seeing their video on “Unlocking the Power of Clothing” while waiting to check out in store. Because of this, I was really excited to learn about the Global Management Program (GMP) during DLSU’s Job Expo and I applied right away.

Through the Uniqlo Global Management Program, I was able to gain an in-depth understanding of the company and got the chance to work with students from all around the world. My favorite part of the program was being able to step out of my comfort zone while trying to develop and present an innovative solution to a global issue with my teammates. It was exciting and enlightening to get to know about my team mates and their different backgrounds. More so, being able to present and receive direct feedback from Uniqlo’s top business leaders.

The Global Management Program (GMP) really helped me form a global perspective on the industry and was an amazing opportunity to form friendships with such a diverse group of people. It is definitely an experience I will never forget and was a great way to connect with others especially during these trying times.

About Global Management Program

GMP is a 5-Day intensive online business study program in which students are provided with a unique opportunity to have business sessions with market Uniqlo top management. Students can also interact with top students from around the world for a chance to present their ideas in tackling global issues.
